CMC

CMC is used as a medium to mix with frit to form a 'paintable' type compound.   A little goes a long long way.

Also known my 'liquid stringer medium' it has many uses in glass fusing projects.

CMC binds with the frit and 'stays in place' while designing -but burns out cleanly during firing.CMC does leave a pate de verre type finish in some projects.

This packet of CMC will yield 6-8 oz or more depending on the desired consistency
